How to get to the Pousada California in Canoa Quebrada
 
1) BY BUS  
  Daily departures from the central bus station of Fortaleza. Only São Benedito buses go directly to Canoa Quebrada. If you travel with the Nordeste or the Guanabara, you will have to get out in Aracati and take a taxi from the bus station or an alternative transportation (topics) departing from the Matriz Church in Aracati. The trip by bus takes approximately 3 hours.

2) BY CAR
 

The distance from Fortaleza to Canoa Quebrada is 165 km.

 

Upon request, the reception staff can help with arranging transport between the pousada and Fortaleza (city or airport) and Canoa Quebrada.

Driving your own vehicle from Fortaleza, the best option is the CE-040, the ´coastal way'. The state of the road is good and has few trucks. You can also follow the BR-116 until the 'Boqueirão de Cesario' and then the BR-304 until the entrance to Canoa Quebrada, just after the exit of Aracati.

Coming from Natal (4 to 5 hours) follow the BR-406 until Mossoró and then the BR-304 until the entrance to Canoa Quebrada, 2 km before Aracati.
